Saw a T-shirt in a tourist shop. The "I AM CANADIAN" t-shirt displays sarcastic jokes about what Candians think certain ignorant foreign tourists think of Canada.

It's full of Canadian traits: Canadians are proud and sarcastic about our own country. We love and hate our free, universal heath care; we think we're a friendly and rude nation at the same time; we think we're a wealthy yet heavily-indebted economy. We pride our Charter of Rights and Freedoms that outlaws discrimantion against minority and weak groups, yet we ignore the mistreatment towards Native Aboriginals in our own backyard. We think we know the U.S. better than Americans know about Canada; yet no one ever understands something as fundamental and important as the American election system!

This is me wearing a funny tee that says "keep staring... maybe I'll do a trick." I created the design for the shirt... but the actual idea was inspired by a similar one I saw someone wearing at a festival. I changed it up a bit to give it a touch of my own :)
